The number was given to me to phone, by a guy on a dating site. I have not used it, just had strange feelings about it.

The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from. Had phone call from this number today stating she was working on behalf of tv licence wanting me to clear the debt with her. I m very suprized to has gone tk debt agency after a month with ?31.50. I will be blocking number and will not pay anything to these it be direct to TV licene. As half hour later I got another call from 01772 221143 again same name she was asking for ebay debt which I don t owe any thing to very suspicious as it was both from Preston both named anika and also sounded same.

26 Nov 2021 - Man with thick, asian accent called me, purporting from a company called "White Goods Repair" based in Luton, telling me that my Indesit washing machine warranty had expired and did I want to extend it. After asking politely around 5 times for them to remove me from there database I finally blocked the call from my mobile but now my phone still keeps beeping telling me that its just blocked the call so they will not stop, sometimes over 10 times per day, trading standards have been informed and if I am able to find out the companies details I will take them to court as I can prove via my call record harassment! So I personally hope they keep calling as it only adds weight to a lawsuit!!!!!!!!
