The person calling from this number was clearly ringing from a call centre and had an Asian name which I didn t catch. He stated that the company name was MTA Solicitors and that he was calling about a recent car accident. This is clearly a scam call as I have not had a car accident.
This number along with the whole range of 011582400xx is used for financial call centres, mostly calling in the name of Red Star Finance - check them at https://www.redstarfm.com/ (their free contact number is 08000 155 144) or directly MBNA - check them here https://www.mbna.co.uk/, credit card company... Nuisance for me, blocking the range - have been using the ShouldIAnswer mobile application from these pages, works fine, can stop such calls and also a range of numbers (very usefull for call centres).
