Scam says from HMRC you are under tax investigation asks to press 1.... dont you will get scammed.

This number is a telepest number. Which means an individual or organisation which makes unsolicited and unwanted telephone calls, often at an inconvenient time. Hope that helps...

They asked me about my accident in the last 3 years.I told them I could nt get out out because as they knew from my records,after hitting the other vehicle I had swerved,glanced the tree and overturned into the ditch where I was partially submerged in freezing water. Within minutes of getting a nuisance call on the spare mobile telephone I do not use I received this call on my landline, a recorded voice telling me it was the last time they would be trying to contact me - but I have had the SAME MESSAGE many times! They continue to lie. Their calls are uninvited. I do not want anything to do with them. I object to recorded messages of this type anyway.

Fake number so definitely a scam. These calls originate from outside of the UK.

I am a solicitor. I received a call 28.7.17 at 11:33am about an accident I did not have soliciting that I in effect make a claim. The call is obviously deceit/fraudulent based, and based on weaving a fabrication to make false claims. When the caller realised I had both a brain and was honest they hang up before I could chew the callers head off metaphorically.

My 81 year old father was targeted and asked to insure his 4 year old Indesit washing machine. Unwittingly he set up a d.debit which he cancelled the next day, with the bank, when he realised he already had cover. He rang Appliance Serve and told them too, he was asked to put it in writing which he did. He is now getting calls about his non payment and they are threateneing court action as they said they hadn t received a phone call or letter. Total fraudsters targeting the elderly. #scammers
