Does he/she realise that by calling from the USA to UK is going to cost them as our line is low call for UK mainland and premium for International private callers. I missed their first call yesterday, but answered today and they said they were calling about an accident I ve been involved in recently (with an upward tone at the end - as though they were asking this as a question)... This number was on a scam letter supposedly from HSBC. It is an automated message asking for your 16 digit card no. Then states it is invalid and asks for sort code. Hung up.

Tried to pretend he was from Telephone Preference Service. But when I asked for clarification of the difference between TPS and the company he represented rang off immediately. Will this deter him? I very much doubt it. This was the second call of this type today.

Three phone calls from this number. Heavy accent hard to understand. Claims to be doing an important energy survey and that number will be removed from list afterwards. Refused to give company name when asked and repeated it was important survey and they needed my gas/electric details. Becomes rude and aggressive when you ask questions.
