A woman with a West African accent phoned me at 4.30 pm on 12th July 2012. She asked me how my "claim" was progressing and whether she could help. Obviously a telemarketing call because there was the usual buzz of conversation in the background. SPAM call offering iPhones but when you question them they can not answer a single question because they don't understand what you are saying. I never signed up to their service and this call is illegal as I'm on the TPS and it breaches GDPR.

I wish they would leave a voicemail message when they ring. I just missed their call and as there was no message I assumed it was a scam call. we get a lot and would never ring the number back unless there was a message left saying who it was and why they were ringing. but I would ring 150 from the landline if I'd known it was virgin regarding my problem. only trouble is that you can be waiting for over an hour before you get an answer! not happy with virgin at all.

Several missed calls from this Manchester number, with no message left. Many of the calls "after hours" i.e after 7pm. I don t know anyone in the Manchester area, also if it was a genuine call a message would be left. So in my opinion, this must be a scam call, as no message is ever left and many of the calls are before 9am and after 7pm. Annoying to say the least, these companies should be fined and banned.
SCAM by recorded voice saying they were HM Revenue & Customs and a tax fraud had been reported. Say to press 1 to discuss with the officer. If I didn’t press a number to be connected I woukd soon be arrested. Obviously pressing any key will incur huge charges or they will try to get you to give personal information etc. My number is really private so I wonder just who sold it to these scammers?
