Received an obscene call from this number this evening - young sounding guy with northern accent. He hung up when my husband asked him what he wanted. Fortunately I am too old and experienced to be upset by it, but someone else might not be. Nasty, since he asked for the previous subscriber for this line by name.

Kept calling frequently and hanging up or dead line upon answer - finally got a female asking to speak with DH about previous Boxing news subscription and he wasn t interested. She says "well I ll call back" before I could pleasantly tell her to remove the number she hung up. Still keep ringing and Sky scandalously want to charge £3.50 per month to bar it. Saw another user s helpful comment to change the call ID so we know to ignore it, so thanks for that bit of advice.

If you use an insurance comparison site, they will pass your number on to The Claims Guys, who will pester you with calls about reclaiming PPI payments. Use this number on the comparison site to give them a taste of their own medicine, and prevent them from ringing you.

The company is called Rapid legal - it was an unsolicited claims call.

These Transcom a holes obviously don t even check the numbers they ve been given before calling them. Transcom left a computerised message demanding that someone should call them. Person with an Asian accent (after a delay) introducing himself as Peter Thompson purporting to be from BT claimed someone in America was using my IP address and accessing emails . Asked what devices I was using to access the internet. The scammer wasn t afraid to argue back aggressively when I told him in no uncertain terms I knew this was an attempt to hack in to the internet.

I have had my number for about 10 years and have been getting calls for Mrs Lisa Judge from all this different numbers and I keep telling them please remove my number as I am not the person, guess what? I get another caller in 24 hours!!!!
