The exact number was 01340 831714. After searching it here, I called the number back. It has a BT call screener on it. A Scottish sounding older lady picked up the phone. I told her my name and said I'd had a missed call from her number at 7:47am this morning (3-3-23). Her reply? "No, not me, no you haven't" and then she put the phone down. After asking politely around 5 times for them to remove me from there database I finally blocked the call from my mobile but now my phone still keeps beeping telling me that its just blocked the call so they will not stop, sometimes over 10 times per day, trading standards have been informed and if I am able to find out the companies details I will take them to court as I can prove via my call record harassment! So I personally hope they keep calling as it only adds weight to a lawsuit!!!!!!!!

I never answer if a number is unknown to me and don't know the area code, I get so many calls from unknown numbers every day and if it was important they would leave a voice mail, they always hang up as voice mail kicks in, every time in the past I answered it was always telemarketing, number is now in my block box.

This claims to be from Facebook but it was just a number and the location is Manchester/Burnley - this is not how FB normally sends 2 Factor ID. Is it a scam number?
