SCAM Asian sounding male purporting to be from BT Openreach saying our internet speeds were markedly low and he could help with this problem. I said we regularly check our up and download speeds and as we're on Fibre to the Premises with BT our usual speed is around 400mbs. He put the phone down. I imagine he was going to ask for ££ to enhance our speed.

Indian gentleman calling from BT Technical about our slow internet speeds, he hung up when I said I worked for BT.
SCAM - pretended to be British Telecom - telling me they were going to disconnect my landline because suspicious activity had occurred... I didn't listen to any more.
This number has been calling for month, plus this number has been ringing me sometimes right after each other and it is a nuisance sometimes 6 or 7 times a day. Sometimes I answer this number by accident and recently I asked them to stop ringing and take my number off their list, which has never happened as they refused to do so. Thank you Google , I almost got scammed, from 289-624-5300 *// 289-624-4285 * // *647-354-2063 *//..I was about to call this person for a list of software programs that I wanted for my home and new business office and I noticed that this seller was in Toronto, Yes !, So I was happy about what he had to sell because I wanted these programs,and my 14 year daughter, said she had a bad feeling about this software guy. However, my daughter kept begging me and bugging me to Google search this number -// 289-624-3
Yet again this number rang and when I answered it was terminated at their end

frequently calls me, only way they could have got my number is from the jobcentre website (universal jobsearch). this number is not an emplyer and tries to sell me stuff

This is one of several numbers that began making repeated calls to my mobile after I had used RAC recovery to move my car following a skid into a kerb in the snow. The RAC denied passing on my details but did so to its recovery subcontractor and to a third party company it employs called Sigma. The caller refused to identify themselves and rang off when I asked for them. They used some generic name like National Accident Database.
Looks more like a UK mobile number.
This number is one of many belonging to uncle buck , never leaves a message , constant calling at ridicules times and just won’t accept I’m not the person they are looking for . !!
SCAM - caller claimed to be from Virgin Media. I couldn’t be bothered to string them along like I usually do; instead, I just blew my emergency whistle into the microphone.

Utilities They said they were from BT. Starting asking about my internet. Asked if I had given my password to anybody other than family as during the times of midnight to 2am there has been unusual activity. All sounds a bit dodgy. I hung up at that point.
