Caller rang and said his name was David Parker, he had a very heavy Asian accent and sounded like he was in a call centre. He claimed to be from BT and said our broadband connection was insecure. When I asked for a contact number he gave me the number 02032898768. I rang this number and it rang several times then cut off. I realised it was a scam and thought nothing more of it. Then around 4 hours later he phoned again and said had I rang the number as he had been waiting for my call as it was important

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 12073279xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with accident claims, insurance marketing.
