SCAM - It is like outlined below and claims that they will make a criminal case against you and to press 1 to talk to an adviser HMRC is aware of an automated phone call scam which will tell you HMRC is filing a lawsuit against you, and to press 1 to speak to a caseworker to make a payment. We can confirm this is a scam and you should end the call immediately. This scam has been widely reported and often targets elderly and vulnerable people.

SCAM! I had a call from this number. Man claiming to be "Tom" and calling on due to some government funded loft lagging placed in the loft a few years ago. He said there have been reports of condensation and mould and they noted that we hadn't had a loft survey since. He said not to worry, and proceeded to ask if I was the home owner. Have seen different reasons of individual calls, just be aware that one number used by the same call centre can be after short period of time used for another purpose.
