All the same story everywhere, again just another telemarketing call with the hearing injury claims or similar insurance marketing. Not interested, blocking it.

Paid number This number appeared twice in my mobile phone bill as chargeable "Picture or Multimedia Messages". I have no idea who the number belongs to. This mobile phone is a "second phone" which has only been used to make one phone call and send one SMS text.- I've used it for data and local wifi data connections. I'm guessing there's an app or website I've used that somehow is sending these multimedia messages?

SCAM

Informed my internet connection would be cut off as I had an infected computer. Offered to fix it. I terminated call but was given this number to call back 0115888521. Said his employee number was D860056 and was employed by BT.

I don't answer unknown numbers and they left no message. Have missed calls from them on my mobile, was trying to dig some info on the internet before calling them back, but found nothing, no luck. People pls did someone answer this number, who is it?

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated - all the same range) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. Similar numbers are reported as a telemarketing. Did someone answer any number of this range? Is there any reason why companies use line with shared costs for just ringing you and left no message (other than scam...)? If this was a silent call for you, do not call back for any reason! Bongo... uses Kids to return texts by answering their questions and keeping them hooked. Totally unethical and immoral way to make money, and disgusting abuse of children's curiosity. Anyone one that works for a company that abuses kids curiosity doesn't deserve the wages their paid !
