SCAM: Obviously a spoofed number- supposedly calling from my local area. An Indian sounding woman announced herself and said she was calling from BT. I don't have my phone line from BT, so I put on a silly voice & asked her if it was nice where she was, or was it raining? She ended the call.

Received call at 8.35 am on a Saturday when I was still asleep. No sound at other end when I answered. I have now blocked the number on my phone having read this site. Further Private call at 09.15. Caller (male) said hello then when I responded did not speak. Could be connected? I am not well at this time and this is annoying.

I said to them I didn't catch what they said, "We're calling to confirm your accident?", to which I said "No. No accident". They said "Okay bye" and abruptly hung up. Going to assume a scam insurance call.
