Alarm bells should ring but i paid it. then the guy says he has to get his manager to call to transfer the money into your account. This is a SCAM. They called me pretending to be Sky and asking about my broadband. I work in IT so my knowledge is quite broad. What they try and do is get you to visit a website that enables them to take over your machine. They then hold you to ransom to "fix" (release) your machine. Avoid at all costs. Just put the phone down.
