SCAM received a call from this number informing me that my internet speed was slow from my router to TalkTalk, an obvious scam as I'm not with TalkTalk.

Safe number I missed the call but I believe it was the NHS. After looking at the stats on this and other sites, I decided to ring the number back. The automatic answer mentioned the NHS website and the initials of a local healthboard. For me it was a callback from 111.

She proceeded to call me Mr William (my first name) and said they had done a search on me and found that I had been scammed (untrue) (my new isp did a search on me last week and found no trace of me online) She asked me to tell her what happened. This is a scam. They claim to be calling from DHL about an unpaid import duty charge but they haven’t even got the right amount! I’d already had an email from DHL a few days earlier. Didn’t ask for payment over the phone but sent an email. What bothers me is that they had my home phone number, my email address (the payment link was in a very poorly constructed fake email from ‘George Spofforth’) & the DHL waybill number. Serious data breach going on here.

I have twice received calls last week from somebody (Roger, I think) claiming to be from SSE. He wanted to talk about a new contract. He didn’t specify whether it was gas or electricity. He first asked for somebody who has not worked here for several years. I asked him to send the new prices by email. He seemed upset by this very simple request and claimed it was impossible. 14th Feb 2024 at 1148 - Call claiming that our loft insulation was reaching the end of its warranty life (20 years) and they would like to inspect it - when I told the man that the house was not built 20 years ago and that we did not have a loft, the man rang off immediately.
Don't know this number, and don't understand the look-up on this. It says UK and Russia, what is this telling me just don't know, what all this info means.
