He asked me to confirm if I was Mrs A............. of my address. Saying he had a message to call about the insurance on my house. I said I did not know who he was and he said is that Mrs A of my address again and that he had just started work but it was given to him by a previous colleague. Absolutely wrong. I just hung up. The person calling from this number was clearly ringing from a call centre and had an Asian name which I didn t catch. He stated that the company name was MTA Solicitors and that he was calling about a recent car accident. This is clearly a scam call as I have not had a car accident.

Caller was calling about "my recent car accident that wasn't my fault." - I have never been involved in any accident.
Man called with indian type accent and with lots of call centre noise in the background called twice today. Said he was from BT .I said why are you ringing me then because I'm not with B.T. he then said'' Why are you lying to me?'' and hung up obviously one of the scams.
