SCAM pretending to be HMRC and threatening me with legal action.

Called me saying they are the Carphone Warehouse and were trying to get me to buy laptops, phones and tablets. The line was pretty rubbish so I'm not sure if this was a scam as I'm sure the Carphone Warehouse don't just randomly call up numbers.

It's a scam number, NOT a genuine Virgin CreditCard services number. SCAM!

Every time you phone this number it rings once then goes on to engaged tone I think what they are selling is a scam took my money in January no goods received and no response from them.

Number 01322 936144 is a Telemarketing Scam! If ever you don't recognise the number, DON'T SPEAK and JUST LISTEN! If you don't hear anyone, and after a short pause the line goes dead, then congratulations you've just successfully escaped being scammed! This is because it was a computer calling trying to establish if your number was a voiceline. If you'd spoken your number would be logged as a voiceline and some clever con artist would be phoning you later, so now you know. If ever in doubt always hang up!

Called me claiming to be from Three and offering a discount. asked for my name dob and address. i asked why they needed it and they said for "verification". I gave completely made up details and passed their verification! This is clearly a scam number and whilst i dont know what the scam is they are lying about who they are and waht they are doing. SCAM

Fraud/ SPAM/ SCAM/ Paid number. Indian male claimed to be from PC Curries asking which phone I was using and whether I wanted to buy an upgrade. I messed around with him a bit so he went silent and I hung up.

I had a phone call from this number today (25/02/2022-17:17) (0161-520-1872 !!!) The person on the line asked for me by name. Which seem very odd to me. As this is a number that I did not know. And told me that he calling to ask if my home had any damaged from the recent bad weather we have had. When I then asked him on how he got my personal number. SCAM Third Chelmsford number blocked today. They hung up when I answered but upon dialling the number displayed, was met with automated message saying CB Brokers or CD Brokers. A call where nobody spoke directly to me, although the background noise was from an Indian sub-continent call centre, based in London!! Must be classed as dangerous
