This is for the government eco4 scheme, the gentleman who called was trying to qualify people for the free incentive. from what I gather they are putting people through to government contractors, if you qualify. I have oil heating, so i was told that there was no funding at the moment. polite gentleman, who said that if i did qualify all the contactors that are assigned to the customer can be checked on line or through cheka trade etc. any company that can be checked through those measures sounds ok.

SCAM- knew my name and said it was a very urgent call re a technical difficulty with my policy which meant my life assurance policy could not be renewed. I told him I wasn't interested in scams and hung up. He then tried to ring me back 5 times. I have now blocked the number.

Called office wanting to talk to our IT-manager. Was vague and did not introduce herself. After asking, she informed me she was calling from Dell, but gave no further comment. Since we are an Apple-only business and she was vague, my spider senses tells me to block this caller.

Claims to be from EE promotions, I thought it was true as I did recently ask EE to call me as I was in the realm for an upgrade. A SCAM!!! A guy called "Richard" presented himself as someone working for the "gradjobsuk" website and he interviewed me for a job (that I dont even remember ever applying for) and tried to persuade me to buy a course towards a qualification. The whole website is a scam, their jobs are made up and all they do is make graduates buy courses and then stop calling them. Its a total scam, just hang up and dont trust them!

I doubt a caller from Russia would be legitimately calling me, any half-witted scammer would mask their number if calling from such a terrorist state, so I suspect that it was supposed to be a masked UK mobile number with too many digits. Whatever, it is an unwelcome call.
