Fraud SCAM She wanted me to confirm , did I have some accident and when I said to whom you want to speak to and she repeated just say YES/NO to my question that did you have accident. I hung up the call and she called again and I said why shall I confirm any thing when you yourself do not know to whom you are talking to and she said just Shut-up and hung up the phone :( What a shame

Caller very rude once got to the gist of the conversation re energy efficient house re windows therefore double glazing sales.
Fraud 01415737911 - asking me a lot of questions (including bank details) trying to get voice recognition and data. The info they had was wrong and I fed them a bunch of bs. When I asked for my data to be deleted, they hung up.

Claimed to be from credit card fraud department. Automated message saying a charge of over one hundred pounds has been made on my card from Amazon, also a foreign transaction of over one thousand pounds. Asked me to press buttons to authorise or talk to an advisor. Total scam.

Got a call saying that it's my bank but I was suspicious so I ended the the call and look up my bank number and called and asked if my account been used for fraud and they said that nothing is wrong with my account, so its a fraud number.

Appears to be a scam. Claimed it was the inland revenue and a warrant had been issued against me for tax fraud. Find this hard as I am a council employee on PAYE. I also live in Scotland where the tax powers are devovled
I didn't recognise the number so let it go to answer machine. they didn't leave a message, so I called them back and the number was answered and was silent? I presume it was a machine/automated call but not sure.

I did not answer, but a google search led me to this site, so I'm popping the info here. I have now blocked the caller in any case so job done.

If you Google the number, it comes back to Brother. 0333 numbers are used in the UK and known as non-geographic but are (supposedly) cheaper than 08 and 09 numbers.
Ringing again and again, I just lift up phone and replace it right away so at least they are paying for the call.
