Answered phone and electronic voice said ‘hello, if you have debts of more than’ - it was at this point I put the phone down. Dangerous call, avoid. I don’t even have any debt!

Got a call from this number, the person added me on skype asking to place an ad on gumtree for them. Very pushy and harassing, went through with it as far as I could just for fun. SCAM / SPAM said they were from Visa Headquarters and that a payment of £600 had been made on my Barclaycard. I don’t have a Barclaycard and when I suggested this they hung up. It was an Indian man and the phone number is a Rugby code.

Scam. I use to work for vodafone, and the first thing i asked after he started talking was " who is your line manager?" "And what system am i on". He freaked out and try come back but not a chance. As for the question providing you managers name should be a problem, unless you are a scammer and it takes you 5-6 seconds to invent a name, secondly vodafone has 2 systems that are being used in the company and it s a very simple to answer this question for a vodafone person. Kept on getting calls to my landline from this number. The caller keeps on asking for a Mr Clark. I have informed them many times that this person does not live at this address and to stop calling me. It is very frustrating when you keep on receiving these nuisance calls, especially when my number is ex-directory and I have registered it with TPS.

The individual announced themselves as Alpine Group but having recently received a call from another similar number last week, I told the female caller to STOP THERE! then hung up.
