SCAM A little pause before anyone said anything ...suspect it was redirected from a local number to a call centre then the The good old “ it is from ( inaudible) ..you reported a minor car accident a while ago “ Hung up when I was not playing ball ...but the scary bit was that they already knew my Surname , so definitely a leek of info somewhere ..Dangerous !

This number phone me, asked for my husband and I said they couldn t speak to him because this wasn t his phone. When I asked who was calling, they hung up. When I tried redialling the number, it won t let the call through

This number is a company called Natural Essentials. They flog over-priced vitamins and supplements to vulnerable elderly people. They are really persistent. When they come up against call blockers, they instantly re-dial with alternative numbers. Just recently they are even switching to international numbers in an effort to bypass. Associated numbers are 08000148950, 08000148960, 02034567894, 02034535242, 02034535243, 02034535244, 02034535245, 02034535246, 02034535247, 02034535248. Block them all!

This is a computer scam. I played along in order to waste their time and to get insight into their methods. There is a warm-up act and a main act to follow. Their first tactic is to say they will cut off your computer unless you cooperate. They take you to Event Viewer administrative events in order to show you a scary page with yellow warning triangles and red error messages. Then to another caller for their main strike. I have had 6+ calls from this number to my mobile, some dropping out immediately, but they appear to be pursuing hearing loss claims. I have asked for my number to be removed on several occisions, but so far with no apparent success.
