This company has been ringing my home phone for months on lots of different numbers. I never answer as I have caller display They leave a message for someone I have never heard of and say that they need me to ring back as they need to contact this person urgently.

Annoyingly persistent. Such calls should be banned. Nobody wants them and I understand from other sites that these people are scammers.

They are an Indian call centre who use spoof caller ID numbers. Do not trust them! Block them with a call blocker (you may need to block VOIP calls)or answer the call something like this: "This is the FBI - we have you surrounded! Come out with your hands up! All units - GO! GO! GO!" That should make them hang up!

The number has too many digits to be a genuine UK number. It s either fake or from abroad. Either way, not identifiable.

Rang at 6.30pm - I didn t recognise number so let ansafone take it - they didn t leave a message. I checked on this site to see who they were, so when the same number rang again at 7.20pm I answered (to wind them up!).
