Third time today (12/02/14) when I answered the phone, Silence, then they cut off the call.

This number as been calling me for months so I decided to answer it they said they were reviewing my life in surance policy took some details off me then passed me to another person he didn t have a clue what he was talking about I got very suspicious of what he was saying so I ended the call not happy with the questions they were asking me be very careful with this number

So far have had four calls from this number. The first call was asked to answer a few questions for a poll. Told him I did not do surveys and he put the phone down. Second and third calls were male who put the phone down when told I do not do surveys and please do not call again. Fourth call was female. I told her she was the fourth caller in two days, please take me off their list and don t call again. The call was immediately terminated. Am now waiting to see if there are any more calls.

when answered there was silence . i said " all calls to this number are monitored by ofcom " they hung up .

call center, phones and all i could hear was loads of voices in the background.
Would not tell me what they wanted, they said it was in regards to a debt but would not let me continue the call without giving them my full address which I refused obviously. Would not tell me the nature of the debt either.
Getting a lot of calls from this number and numbers very similar, called approximately 20 times in the past 2 days. Loft insulation scam.
Indian accent man, all he did was asking me yes/no questions... like, are you ____? is ____ your postcode? have you got a mortgage? are you happy with your bank? After I replied to his questions he said ok have a lovely day an hung up... which I found weird. Unfortunately, it was until he hung up that I realised he might have been recording my yes/no answers to use this for any sort of identity fraud or scam... Got a call from this number earlier saying my national insurance number was used for some kind of fraud
TAXES / HMRC Received a call from 08002853110, claiming to be from Department of Work and Pensions, fraud detected regarding my National Insurance Number, which was being suspended ! I tried to contact DWP by phone, but, due to Covid, was told to go online @ gov.uk. Online - was told to phone DWP contact number. Gave up, and decided to call above number - NUMBER INVALID. Got to be a scam !
