Called today at 11:38 Electronic message to say that I’ve not renewed my Amazon Prime subscription and they’ve deducted £96 from my account. If this is incorrect press 1 Dadidadida…… Hung up. I am not a Prime member and they don’t have my card. It’s a scam to get your money. Don’t do it. Wish these numbers could be blocked like on mobiles.

01223931099 rang with a very loud background noise proporting to be a call centre. The caller, with a strong foreign accent, alleged he was from sky refund centre; however, when I said ok in a less than enthusiastic manner, the caller hung up. This is most unlike any sky call centre I have experienced. I suspect it to be a scam.
Fraud SCAM Called me pretending to be from Amazon saying that someone had ordered an iPhone on my account. They then managed to trigger the Amazon reset password text message and pressured me to give me that code to them, presumably so that they could take control of my Amazon account. I know nobody who holds this number or who lives, works or has any connection with the location you show for its use. This number was used to dial my own 4 times in three minutes yesterday. As a result, I assumed was a cold caller or scammer and will block it.
Twice when I picked up the phone the line went dead. The third time, a lady said something which included the words "Tax refund" but, despite asking her to repeat herself several times, I could not make out anything else she said as she had a very strong foreign accent. So I blocked the number.
Not sure what this was about. I answered and it went silent then someone said hello, knew my email address. Something about a transfer payment being stuck and verifying my data in regards to ID fraud. I had an echo on the line, couldn't hear properly. Caller had strong accent, possibly French. Asked them to call back in 20 mins by which time I would be home and hopefully no echo. They didn't call back. Potentially a scam call in itself? Call center

They are Asians and the number emanates from Orpington Kent.
