Purporting to sell iPhones and mobile connectivity. Call repeatedly from numbers beginning 020 3986 **** I block them every time, but every few days they call again from a different number on the same exchange.
Fraud Caller had a strong accent and spoke poor english. There was a lot of background noise as you would expect from a call centre. Asked to speak to my husband but did not mention his first name. Claimed to be from the Fraud dept of Visa Debit but did not say which bank had issued the card. She asked for no security checks. Spoke about unauthorised transaction. Hassling you about a motoring accident and getting you to claim. My last accident was over 5 years ago and I dealt with a compensation claim off my own back. Was skeptical at first because they asked for details of the account but then I had just filled out an online form on uswitch and it was the same info they were asking for and I literally had the details there. The man was polite and even had me looking at Trust Pilot to read about their services. Ended up saving about 1/3rd on my farms energy. Only as I was out of contract and I didn t know though.

This number dialled few moments ago: A computer generated voice said it was HMRC stating a fraud claim has been raised against me, If i don't state my name etc I will be arrested immediately. Do NOT leave your details, this is not to be trusted and most definitely IS a highly dangerous. So far have had four calls from this number. The first call was asked to answer a few questions for a poll. Told him I did not do surveys and he put the phone down. Second and third calls were male who put the phone down when told I do not do surveys and please do not call again. Fourth call was female. I told her she was the fourth caller in two days, please take me off their list and don t call again. The call was immediately terminated. Am now waiting to see if there are any more calls.
TAXES / HMRC Received a call from 08002853110, claiming to be from Department of Work and Pensions, fraud detected regarding my National Insurance Number, which was being suspended ! I tried to contact DWP by phone, but, due to Covid, was told to go online @ gov.uk. Online - was told to phone DWP contact number. Gave up, and decided to call above number - NUMBER INVALID. Got to be a scam !
