Scam call purporting to be from visa saying I have been charged £800 by Amazon.All untrue so I did not press one as suggested by the automated voice with an american accent

Part of a group of Chinese scammers currently operating a fraudulent website which was advertised by a 'recruitment agency'. Do not engage with any of them they are definitely not from the UK and will lure you into their scam.

Kelly called from Lloyds bank. She’s a scammer. Lloyds bank don’t know her or the number she’s using to call people. What a bunch of scumbags

SCAM Said they were O2. Very convincing. Sent an OTP, like a fool, I gave it to them. By the time their call ended, and I got through to O2 (max 10 minutes), they’d already changed my email and postal addresses. O2 tell me the only time they will ask for the OTP is when a customer calls them. Looks like I stopped them in time, all details now changed, and security info changed, but be careful people. I’m a cautious type, but they fooled me

SCAM Some man called Dean Kevin Brewer impersonating a scam support & recovery service. They will say to scam victims, we will help people get their money back if you give us a fee of £100 per case. A Very clever scam.

I received a text message from this number just saying "How are you my good friend" so I immediately blocked the number as I do not know who this number belongs to.

Automated call Recieved a call from this number threatening it was a Fraud investigation giving me a reference number then directing me to press one to get through to an agent. If I hung up and ignored the call I may end up with a fine or court proceedings.no reference as to what the call was related to? Very strange and no reason why I would even recieve such a call. I ended call without proceeding but want others to watch out for such calls as the ber search brought up nothing in terms of an organisation

Had a missed call from them yesterday 19 May 2023, and tracked it to Russia Today 20 May got a message from them, pretending to be police and telling me to report to Preston Police Station regarding an incident on Sunday (tomorrow) Fraud SCAM

Caller claimed to be from BT technical services. She told me that there were a number of people using my internet connection and there numerous errors. I asked her for the error numbers and how did they know and my husband was to blame for using naughty sites - she rang off, saying that I could chose to believe or not.

01877 is the local code for my village when I answered the call it was a recorded message from Amazon Prime. Was this a scam call? Could be dangerous.

Claim to be calling for my unnamed bank about suspicious charges from Amazon and an international money transfer. Wanted me to key in a response to speak with an “adviser”. Seems to be a scam/phishing for bank information.

SCAM - initial recording warned my electric was going to be shut off in a few minutes. When I transferred to a "representative" it was what sounded like an Indian man. He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. He told me the "balance" and the amount was incorrect because I have my bill in front of me and an a real call wouldn't give me info since the account isn't in my name without other info. TAXES / HMRC SCAM - one of those ridiculous American accented robot voicemails informing me that I will shortly be prosecuted for tax evasion unless I press 1 now!

Calling saying they were from Currys / PC World , accent suggested Indian caller, Currys / PC World do not have permission to call me - caller hung up when challenged on this. I suspect it was a scam call (your PC is infected with a virus type scam)
