SCAM rang me saying it was a bank fraud dept soon as I said il go in branch to discuss the problem they hung up !!!

Called me and implied that they were operating on behalf of my estate agent and this was the 'next step' in the purchase of my new property. Tried to get my address details claiming that it was all part of 'data protection' - when I said 'heck no - I'm not giving you any details' then they doubled down on the the claim that they were operating on behalf of my estate. Very upsetting.

Fraud Was chatting with someone online who gave me this number. Claimed she was 20 years old. Then she sent a nude pic of herself, then told me she's 17, but 18 next month. So I called a halt and said sharing pics with anyone under 18 is illegal, let's leave it here. She then looked me up on Facebook and threatened to tell my family I was sharing pics with a 17 year old unless I gave her £300. Almost certainly fraudulent as recorded message from my unspecified bank about 2 purported transactions to Amazon and another international one

Phoned me. Background noise suggested I was being called from an overseas call centre. Caller had an Asian accent. When I started to ask where her company was based she replied “ Manchester”. When I asked further questions she put the phone down on me. Suspicious.

SCAM . . . . . starts with a text "Where are you? I'm waiting for you". If you reply you will be marked down as a 'responder' and active with replying to texts (or even worse, possibly phone calls). Simply ignore it and block the number.

Another scam call from "The Advisors", trying to sell premium savings on life insurance. 'Paul' tells me their website is at theadvisors.co.uk - visiting that results in a rather empty webpage from the domain owner trying to sell the domain for £800. No proper website in place! It's the second call I've got from 'Paul' at The Advisors this week, I blocked his previous number, which was 07723553123. You can spot a pattern in these numbers, they're 0772355xxxx. This number purports to send messages from Gov.uk, offering energy rebates. My wife pays the electricity bill not me so I was very suspicious when I was saved for my energy company and then the card details with which the company was paid. Pretty sure it is a scam

Female automatic message claiming to be from "banking" warning about large transactions (£1000) on Amazon. Menu options 1&2 ignore or speak to someone. I checked banking online, no such transaction made or pending. Probably a scam.
