Black Apples....Rotten apples is more like it....I didn t realize people in the UK were getting spammed by india staffing companies as well...Its a serious epidemic in the US these days...I ve got a list a mile long of india staffing companies that are aggressive as hell cold calling and lining people up with fake jobs that they cut you as fast as possible and underpay you as low as possible.... personally, i think its all tied with some type of india visa fraud... This number just rang my phone, I said hello, they then hung up on me. Agreed with Adam that they want you to phone them back. Found out that it is a charge of 45p-62p per minute to ring back. Also found out it is an individual not a company hoping you will phone him/her back and in doing so they will make him/herself a nice monthly income at your expense.

Have had calls from Aerials Direct claiming to be working for Vodafone. Said I was due an upgrade. What? 10 months early?? I don t think so. Also the guy stating they are from Tesco. Why would Tesco use another company. And why do they call stating they are from different companies.

Fraud and Bitcoin scam. They present very nice case that you are owed money back from the Market Cube and trick you into paying money into Binance.com account under your name. Then they transfer money to another bitcoin account that they say is yours and actually has nothing to do with you. They convince transfers need to be done to confirm your identity and so that they can pay you money back without suspicion of money laundering. Absolute scam.

Caller claimed to be from BT Openreach calling about poor internet speed - sounded like an Indian call centre. I was wary but we have been having poor speed so I carried on. They asked me to do a speed test on out internet using a site I have used before. They said the speed figures were very low. They wanted me to download software so they could connect to my PC which I didn't do. When I started to challenge them to prove who they were they hung up. I suspect this is a scam call.
