It is very interesting that several of your comments relating to this number, I have just received in the past week, sometimes 3 or 4 times a day; such as the comment about it being a Californian compromise on the internet, but also supposedly BT IT Desk! SCAM yet another call from this Manchester area. Never leave a message (thank goodness for answerphones) only rings about 4 times. I get lots of calls from this area with different numbers - simes are so cheap these call centres can change their numbers so cheaply. I presume they are up to no good because this is a major center for such calls.

I had a call from this number and was instantly suspicious. I phone Lloyds (PhoneBank) number to be told that this number belongs to the Lloyds Credit Card Collection department (I had missed a payment due to personal circumstances) and they wanted their money. Like most people, I am suspicious of individuals whose language skills are a lot less than mine and have a heavy accent. However, I would ask if these guys are from the collection department before going into a personal/private details. I have sort
