SCAM / SPAM Amazon prime account scam. I don’t know how many phone numbers they try this on, but this is the latest. An automated call saying problems with Amazon prime account. I don’t have a prime account.
Called by this No, no message left and when i tried call back it rings once and then give an unobtainable tone.
Michael from technical support rang as he said he had noticed a fault on my computer. Very likely a scam. Ended call swiftly.

A recorded message warned me that my bank account was to be charged to continue my membership of Amazon Prime after a free trial. I don't belong to Amazon Prime! I did not dial 1 as suggsted to speak to someone, particularly because although I do have an Amazon account my name was not given in the call. Phishing at best, access to my bank account possibly?

Nuisance caller. Has been calling daily over the past week or so.
I've just kept one of their team talking for 12 minutes, saving others from being called by this scam! They claim to be "Road Traffic Management" and that they can get you additional compensation for a RTA you've had. They also claim to have got your details from the MIB (Motor Insurance Database), but when pushed they claim that all they were given was your phone number and the fact that your vehicle had been in an accident in the last five years that wasn't your fault. Caller asked me also to confirm if I was receiving a high volume of telemarketing calls, and that he could help. Fealing un easy I said call me back in 5 mins after I could check him out. Found this thread immediately blocked the number on my Pro Call Blocker box i found on ebay for ?25.

Got the same call today from an Indian woman called "Jennifer Janet" (like f*ck)stating I had viruses. She would fix them and also upgrade my internet service! (ha ha). I played along with her until she asked me to press certain buttons on my keyboard. I pretended to do so, and when she asked "what message is displayed", that is when I tore into her calling her a scamming Indian ****** and to f*ck off! she hung up! (boo hoo) People, don t be afraid to rip into these scammers, be as nasty as you want, swear

SCAM - Just had a call saying they were contacting me about upgrading my phone, so I wasn't best pleased about being disturbed when I'm not feeling well with a very heavy cold. I knew it was a scam straight away as there was no link to my existing provider, so I informed the caller of that and told him to "Bu**er off"! Suggest others do the same.

I persisted with the likeness (exact) of the females voice and its origins, was told India LOL I know a Canadian accent, I told the thick cow did she think I was thick? and to go and find someone else-I really wanted to use the f word but in case i got it wrong and upset some Indi/adian for nothing (and possibility of getting new phone line cut-off. 99 per cent scam , I think? - Oh
