SCAM Had these people phone me up on another number pretending to be the national crime agency, using an automated message. When rumbled and blocked they tried again using this number to pretend to be an insurance broker, again using the same tactics with an automated message which made it obvious that it was the same people. Do not trust, just block them.
Scam, apparently got my profile from the government who will write off my debts. Kept saying the same thing over again.
Asked for Adam Winks. Nobody I know. Also recently made a website with 1&1.
The usual Indian accent claiming to be from BT Openreach.

rang today and attempted to put the emphasis on the fact he was calling from Google Business Directory - -of course, no such thing exists. He was giving the impression he worked for Google. Conman. Blocked
HMRC scam threatening legal action if you don’t call (oddly, this same number) or appoint a “criminal barrister” to call immediately.
This number called today and I didn t have time to Google it before answering. Said they were from American Express, only asked for half my postcode and they knew the type of card I held and how long I have had it. He was trying to sell an identity/credit rating protection (Platinum protect plus I believe). He was polite, when I said I wasn t interested he was pleasant. Don't know who called me from this number. I jumped out of bed when the phone rang but I didn't pick up as I didn't recognise the number. It was 7:36 am ffs! Even the sun was still in bed where I live in Greater Manchester and I do't even know where Thanet is, never mind why someone from there would be phoning me at an ungodly hour. I highly suspect this was a scam call.
