SCAM I had a phone call from 020 8298 3548 at 3:01pm this afternoon on Thursday 25th February 2021. It was an automated message saying that I had an outstanding balance and an arrest warrant was issued for my arrest and I should press 1 to speak to a representative about it. SCAM. Probably from the same source as 1656737322, a call to my landline. The well spoken, but recorded voice, told me that two suspicious transactions had been noted on my account (no introduction as to who she represented) and that I should take one of two actions. Either press "1" to cancel them or "2" to speak to a service advisor. I left the call open for ten minutes but there was no further communication from the caller. Why Bridgend exchange? I have no idea.

I am registered with TPS and would never consider buying from a company that refuses to respect that request for privacy. Apart from anything else, a lack of respect for the law in this one respect suggests they may be less than law abiding in others (e.g. building regulations!). Reports on other "nuisance call" sites confirm this firm is best avoided.
UK has been calling me very often lately from a different phone numbers, it's very annoying. ???????? When i try to find out who it is, then i see that there is no particular information about the caller. So, UK you won't get a bite from me no matter how many times you call me. Especially when there is not enough information about the number that calling me. Sincerely, a frustrated fellow from Norway.

I got a phone call today (ending up on my voicemail). The message said: “This is officer Danis Grey from HM Revenu and Costume. The hotline to ??? revision is 02 03 314 77 91. But I was right; this cretin is from Londonistan where 4 out of five residents are from foreign descent. I know of no one in London so why ring me if it s not to try and con money out of me. Internet - Claimed to be calling from open reach to assist with poor upload / download speeds claiming it was due to my router but they didn't even know what router I had! I explained that if they wanted to find the problem that they should send an engineer to the telephone pole opposite where the cover had been off for about 12 months and where the wires were open to the elements. I hung up before the lady could offer to sell something to put it right !
