Indian/ Asian sounding male Said they were HMRC Also said that I was being investigated for tax fraud and tax evasion and due to be arrested. I said I would presenting myself at my local police station. The call ended at that point!

I got a phone call from this number, as I did the 1471 to hear the number back. The man said his name was John and wanted to speak to my brother. He new his name and said he owed money and they wished to speak to him. My mother answered the call but wouldn t give up any details, but she kept asking them questions about who they were and why they were ringing. DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION AWAY!! DO NOT ANSWER THEIR QUESTIONS!

Optical Express - they called as I had made an inquiry online about laser eye surgery but they rang 10 times over the space of a few days, didn t leave a message or text/email to say who they were. I did not give my details but asked why he had called me and he put the telephone down. I rang back but it just rings and rings.
