SCAM "Visa / Mastercard" - obviously not ! Said £600.00 charge on my account from abroad. Sounded like an Indian Call Centre scam operation. Wanted my bank account details so they could stop the charge going through - how kind of them - but didn't know what bank ! Kept them on the line for a few minutes so one less person they can scam today before letting on that I knew they were scammers !

FRAUD. I nearly fell for it but they asked for the 12 digits of my card number and wanted a card reader to confirm I was me. ALWAYS CALL THE NUMBER ON THE BACK OF YOUR ACTUAL CARD FOR NATWEST.
SCAM 01967 401277 ranf 2 days in a row at around 10am. No one answers, but you can here something going on in the background, like in the call centres atht have multiple hones on dial at once. I hung up straight away and blocked the number. Possible HMRC scam.

020 7917 0600 called and left a message, saying that i's from HMRC, and if you don't return the call you run the risk of getting arrested. I was contacted by U Legal some months ago. The lady was very slick on the phone and stated that they had good reviews online. As soon as she mentioned payments I stopped the process as any decent company will take fees from what they claw back for you. I then checked them online and sure enough it was a complete scam! When they called back I told the woman that if anyone else called it would be treated as harassment and would be forwarded to the Police for investigation under the Protection From Harassment

I had a missed call from this number on my mobile but no message left. Also similar numbers called me recently - all the same 019167402xx range - probably the same marketing company? I don't wanna call back since I do not know the number - it could be just a robocaller testing if my number is responding, don't want to let them know my line is active...
