This looks 100% like a local number - but it is NOT - it was a computer voice purporting to be from Amazon saying that they were charging me £399 for a phone and that I should press 3 to confirm my details!. When will this type of call be stopped.?

I was curious of this number previously but have now related it to my house alarm which is set up to text me when there is a fault/activation of my house alarm. Every month an automated check is done on the phone line (hence the 61p charge on my bill) to check the system is still working ok and able to then text when required. A small price to pay I guess for piece of mind when having an alarm system, but unfortunately something my alarm fitter forgot to mention when installing it!

This number seems to be used for a classical telemarketing, or it is a directly some general call centre. They usually work for some third company and call with offer of some goods or services for the actual company they were hired for. In this case the number is mostly reported in connection with Three Mobile, could be also calling in the name of another telco operator... Just a call centre.

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8435667xxx range... People did someone answer this number?

They called me twice yesterday, one was at 1:34 and the second call was 5 or something. They did phone me today as well at 12:54, i declined it because i don't know them and i don't want to waste my time talking with someone i do not know that might actually scam me or charge me
