SPAM Call came through at 15:46 on my mobile today (Mon 24th 2023. I did not know the caller who sounded Asian and gave his name, which I did not catch, and said he was calling from the O2 network. As my mobile is not supported by O2, I told him so and said 'goodbye' and hung up....and promptly blocked the number on my mobile.
As soon as the answer machine comes on the caller hung up.

Phoned purporting to be from my bank (spoofed number) . An automated call saying that two unusual transactions had been made on my card , one of £300 to Amazon and another of £400 on a money transfer. Scam called talking about new electricity tarrif and got rude and raised their voice when I asked them to email so I hung up
SCAM received several phone calls via WhatsApp demanding payment for providing a service befor anything would be done. Lady admitted was of German origin and was ringing from Bournemouth. Payment was to be via PayPal or Amazon gift cards only, on refusal became more aggressive.
If the search cannot tell me where the call came from the it must definitely be suspicious.

I never answer the landline (to avoid giving scammers/spammers the knowledge that my landline is a valid number). I researched the number but could not find a legitimate index entry, so I conclude it is a scam and not to be trusted at all. Potentially dangerous.
