I answered today and said the same thing - so checked what information they had on my address etc, and have the correct address, have asked for the information, and will check it out when I receive it. I asked where they had obtained my information from and he said from an online form I had completed, and as I have recently, this would seem feasible, as the databases are available to purchase in the telemarketing world. This comany called to tell me that I had downloaded a malicious file and it was slowing my computer down. Well, despite my undouting that this was scam call, my computer has actually been slow, so I thought I d humor myself and listen to what they had to say... they asked me to press the windows key on my keyboard, when I told the that I had a mac, they hung up haha!

I thought this nuisance caller had been thwarted, it comes from Whalley near Preston, I will again report it to the proper authorities and hope they can deal with it.

My phone number is 07815844021 and it is currently being used by scammers to send automated McCall’s out from Amazon. If you miss the call and ring the number back you will get me and I am getting about 20 calls a day. I have therefore set up a quick response message to tell you what has happened. Hopefully I can send this before you go to my answerphone. I am so sorry about this but I have no way of stopping it.
