Called by a Welsh lady saying they were handing out free grants for loft insulation -- did I have loft insulation? I immediately smelt a rat & asked who was calling. She simply said "a grant company". I asked what their name was. She was very evasive but eventually said "Nationwide Energy." I asked what their address was but said she didn t know(!). Unknown caller telephoning a TPS registered private number and failing to leave a message. Presumably an illicit sales call or a scammer.

Tried to get security information from me. I asked for a direct phone number and he hung up. I called the credit card company and they said no one had called.

Definitely a criminal enterprise. Rang me telling me I should claim the money set aside for me after a crash that they somehow knew I had been in. Very cleverly the got personal details from me including my address, date of birth and national insurance number. They pretend to put you through to a solicitor whilst keeping you on hold for a while... Very well thought out criminal enterprise.. After a couple of days they confirm that you can have the money.. And arrange for a "special courier" for legal docume
