This guy called me and he said he was a member of the association AML "anti money laundering" in UK and international also. He pretended he could recover money from crypto websites. (I don't know what is crypto). He knows English, french and dutch. He has strong (false) argument to tell you. When I ask him to call the association AML to be identified, he turns around the circle. Scam call purporting to be from visa saying I have been charged £800 by Amazon.All untrue so I did not press one as suggested by the automated voice with an american accent
Recorded message "bank alert" from bank "technical department" Usual same male voice used regularly for these scams from various numbers. Total pain and regarded as harrassment,. Thery obviously think folk are stupid enough to respond by pressing button 2 - which only atkes you to a premium rate line from which the scammers make money. Five star bad.

SPAM A very quick internet browse told me that this was a spam call and so it proved. Don't even know what it was they were trying to sell, offer, advertise or what but the caller didn't even sound sure of what he wanted to tell me! Just told them where to go.
SCAM - initial recording warned my electric was going to be shut off in a few minutes. When I transferred to a "representative" it was what sounded like an Indian man. He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. He told me the "balance" and the amount was incorrect because I have my bill in front of me and an a real call wouldn't give me info since the account isn't in my name without other info. I called this number back and linked to an answering machine which informed me I was calling Friends Of The Earth. I never continued the call so I can not say whether it was a 'safe' number or not.

Housing maintenance scam? Called them back several times and calls were answered by different people each time. They then called me back and asked for my wife by her first name. They said they were calling people who rented council property and asked if this was still the case with my house......which is a private house and always has been. Now blocked.
