NEVER call unknown numbers back. If you do so, you may be calling a Premium Rate or International number which will incur a large charge on your bill.

Beware! Scam phone call saying there is a problem with windows 7 and your computer will crash. Caller got quite aggressive when I wouldn t do as he said.

I was called today by this company and found out who they were (on here). I promptly phoned their 0845 number and requested that they remove me from their database. I explained that I had caller preference and threatened to report them to Ofcom. The interesting thing is that they asked me if I knew a certain person (who they mentioned by name). This person was clearly the person they were chasing for the debt but I had never heard of her. They state on their website that they are they work ethically, honest

Pre-recorded msg, no company name just that I was due £1000 refund on my pension in next month - press 5 to start process - best just to put phone down.

Yet another call about being involved in a non-fault car accident. They hung up on me.

Some called offering to get rid of cold call, automated calls basically every type of call you don t want. For a small fee of ?1.90 per month, they would provide a box to stop the calls. Is it me or shouldn t BT be doing this for free

Automated voice message saying from fraud department about illegal activity on phone. After personal details when challenged they hung up.

saying they are from talktalk and they have "detected problems with my router". Every time they ring the number changes slightly so you can t tell they ve rung before. I am heartily fed up with these people. Each time I report the scam number to talktalk on their website. Don t know if it does any good but its worth a try.
