This phone number phoned stating my credit card had been used. No bank name was given. Checked as far as I can not used. There was no bank name given. Can only presume this is a scam. An 0141 number is not a usual scam number, will keep checking.

It was someone claiming to be my daughter saying she had lost her phone and to ring her back on the above number. Daughter was with me at the time she definitely hadn't lost her phone. So in my opinion it was a scam.

Fraud A banking scam - purporting to be TSB and checking fraudulent transactions. Almost convinced us to give standing orders and direct debit details, and had confirmed a couple of transaction. This number rang me at 1102am today, did not answer as I did not recognise the number, and it is not in my contacts list. Thought it was a scam call and I may be right judging by the search results.

SCAM CALL. Claimed to be from sky. Knew I had Sky package said I had technical issues. English not their first language. As a test I said no I don’t have technical issues, I don’t even have Sky! Her tone changed and she said “you do have sky the way you know is to look at your dish outside” Asked me to confirm details and I just felt suspicious. Her tone was really sharp and demanding saying I needed to confirm my details so they can fix the problem. Hung up and called Sky from my phone. they confirmed=SCAM
I was advise to reach out to [email protected] for funds recovery but i never did at first cause i taught he was also a scam, after i tried to search for personal hackers who turns out to be scam then i decided to give a try and contact wizard Harry, he responded to me without asking for money initially, he looked into my case and then inform me how it can be done, so i gave him a go-ahead and he got my funds back. Scam number impersonating virgin money. I received a text which appeared to be from virgin money “this is your one time passcode to debit your account (amount) to pay (company). If this was NOT you call us on 03309124638” I called Virgin money directly using their actual number from the back of my bank card to report it, it’s definitely a scam.
