Home guard phone blocking service claims we have a account with them and the renewal fee needs paying. We have never had a paid for service but keep getting these type of calls funny how they are always from mobiles. Think they are after credit card number

has called once before hand has left a voice mail claiming to be an officer from hmrc in other words tax revenue and customs claiming to file a law suit against you this is the 4th number they have used and 4th voicemail message this is getting to be annoying

My experience is that the call was from scammers trying to get you to install malware on your pc. They obviously have some information on account holders/numbers to call as they were pretending to be Talk Talk technical support, but they are not..

Seems to be used for some really wide-scope telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 118328xxxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with very sophisticated robocalls, sometimes classical RTA - ''you have been in a car accident'', sometimes Microsoft support - general computer support, in most cases unsolicited. Said they were from BT and were going to cancel Broadband, installed anywhere desktop access software and installed Trojan Gen 5 to gain access to a bank account. Thankfully the bank saw it as a large amount and blocked the transaction
