This calls many times each day. So annoying, i dont answer because i know they are from Vodafone.

this caller was about PPI. very persistant and annoying, i hung up in the end.

The person calling from this number was clearly ringing from a call centre and had an Asian name which I didn t catch. He stated that the company name was MTA Solicitors and that he was calling about a recent car accident. This is clearly a scam call as I have not had a car accident.

She asked whether I had private pensions and whether it would be possible that somebody would see me face to face to go through my private pensions. After being scammed before are very wary of cold calls and scams. However, this one was picked up without really looking or thinking but I must say this seems a dangerous one because this did sound almost genuine with (as above, claiming to be HMRC). In our case, the line just went dead after it told us to press one to speak to an officer. This is one that could catch unexpecting people out so be careful! We keep it as rule that if in any doubt, ONLY answer numbers that are 0800 or gov numbers (030) unless
