this number keeps calling my uk mobile every 2:00am (+10 time zone summer time) at night with a very quick hang up. It wakes me up every night. my number rare known to anybody, so i guess it is a spy or automatically scheduled phone call by someone trying to do sth not nice

Called me so I rang back and after a long silence I got an answer asking me about an accident I had four years ago!!

Called by a Welsh lady saying they were handing out free grants for loft insulation -- did I have loft insulation? I immediately smelt a rat & asked who was calling. She simply said "a grant company". I asked what their name was. She was very evasive but eventually said "Nationwide Energy." I asked what their address was but said she didn t know(!). Called saying they could save us Tax due to HMRC. Told them we weren t interested but still they call 5-6 times a month. A real nuisance and harrasing!!

Said she was from Autodesk or AutoCAD and was looking to speak to accounts as license was due to expire. As we don't use Autocad i got suspicious, then she asked if she was speaking to a certain company, of which i didn't know. This may have been a genuine call where they phoned the wrong company or could have been a scam to try and get a payment. As Autodesk now use 3rd party account managers then you would normally know the person calling you and they would be using the correct names.
