Caller from Private hospital in Devizes
Fraud automated call telling me that a payment of over£900 was requested from my visa account and to hit one of a series of numbers on my keypad. Needless to say, I didn't and ended the call.

Please be extremely careful if you pick up your phone as it’s LOCAL number because I’ve had lots of these calls that I don’t answer & it’s impossible to phone back because you get the number you have Dialled has not been Recognised. It’s definitely a Sophisticated Scamming System.

The number = 01709889223, this number phoned me today (at 13:08 on 1st March 2022) and the caller stated they were from BT OUTBOUND ringing about my telephone. They were indian, male and middle aged, they identified themselves as John Martin. I am ex-directory and my phone is registered with the telephone preference service to block sales calls and unwanted calls. I checked online and the number was listed as Indian and Rotherham based. One of many similar calls, third time this week. Same automated female voice telling me that two unauthorized transactions on my Amazon account and an international money order have been made this morning and that I should press one or two on my keypad for further details, I hung up again.

Called number back and it belongs to an elderly lady so someone is cloning her landline number. Tried to explain but she didn't understand.
