SCAM Cold caller, pretending to be working on behalf of Microsoft advising me that I am being targeted by hackers. Goes through a spiel involving talking me through looking at the 'event viewer' utility on my PC and asking me to note the number 'Administrative events' with warnings listed in the viewer. This he advisies means that I am under attack - (BTW it does not). The tries to talk me into downloading 'anydesk' - I did not because it would allow access to my PC.

He claimed to be from Halifax bank and said that the bank needed me to discuss serious matters concerning my account... Just wow!!! I advised him I wouldn t be purchasing any extra advertising and he spoke to me like absolute crap. He said, "Did I say you had to have any extra, NO" "I will now remove all trace of your company from bing.com, Bye" and slammed the phone down. I certainly hope he doesn t represent Bing.com or Infoserve.

This number just rang my phone, I said hello, they then hung up on me. Agreed with Adam that they want you to phone them back. Found out that it is a charge of 45p-62p per minute to ring back. Also found out it is an individual not a company hoping you will phone him/her back and in doing so they will make him/herself a nice monthly income at your expense.

I just had a miss call.
Fraud pretending to be bank security stating that someone is trying to use my credit card and asking me to press 1. Put the phone down and call block the number. Somehow they are using what sounds like the same voice as my bank system.
Fraud: Recorded message claims to be from Amazon Prime and money will be taken from your account, if you need to stop this press 1. DO NOT PRESS 1 AND HANG UP. This is an obvious FRAUD.
