Twice this week have had Indian ladies with strong accents with an offer for me from Sky as I am over 60 - which I am not. The first one argued with me about my age and slammed the phone down the second one insisted I hadn t received the first call but slammed the phone down when I said I was not over 60.
I am registered with TPS and would never consider buying from a company that refuses to respect that request for privacy. Apart from anything else, a lack of respect for the law in this one respect suggests they may be less than law abiding in others (e.g. building regulations!). Reports on other "nuisance call" sites confirm this firm is best avoided.

AMAZON. The usual one about Amazon Prime. Your acct will be auto renewed for £79+. I don't have it so it can't. Get these scam calls all the time. They want you to press "1" so gawd knows what that does - link you into an expensive Ling Distance call or something. Someone is determined to get money from you, I don't fully understand how but they wouldn't be in this for nothing! I fail to understand why the police or BT can't DO something about it!!!

SCAM - claim to be working for o2 to offer a discount, they are obviously trying to SIM swap or login to account as they already have your mobile number they can get an o2 security text message sent to your phone. The text message is legitmate BUT you must not give them the code. It even says in the message never to share the code with anyone. They need the code to access your account. DON'T LET THEM!

SCAMMERS - PLEASE DONT FALL FOR IT! Had a call from this number claiming to be from “my bank” - they didn’t mention the name of the bank, I should have thought to ask as I don’t think he knew. Said he wanted to check that an online payment of £2500ish this morning was really made by me. Of course it wasn’t. He wanted me to get my bank card and check the phone number on the back (think the next step would have been to ‘put the phone down’ so I could dial my bank, yeah right). I hired this company for removals. They deliver your stuff and then claim there was more with a half empty van. They will hold your belonging hostage until you pay. I would give them 0 stars if I could. The company is called Riight Moves Removals. Satmeal Singh is the main guy, probably already in jail for fraud. I can see he also had a company called Stress 3 Removals and Royale Removals.
