Fraud - Indian call centre claiming to be from Vodafone. Hung up on me when I asked a couple of very basic questions.

After searching online, others have suggested it's Domestic and General, which I do have cover with for appliances, therefore would expect them to talk. Very rude man with poor English trying to upgrade my new phone which did not exist! Apparently he had permission from Vodafone to call me with upgrades to this imaginary phone. I have never used Vodafone but he told me that he had taken calls from my current number arranging for the mystery new phone which was due to be delivered. I would imagine Vodafone would be very annoyed by this kind of cold call criminality.

When I said I was retired, she said I wouldn’t be eligible for a tax rebate when I asked what the reason for the call was. She signed off.
