SCAM: pretended to be from Virgin Media, seemed affronted I asked for the name attached to the account, then hung up.
SCAM - offered 40% discount on my next bill, when I asked who they were they said it was for my phone bill. Automated call to say that there had been fraudulent activity on our bank account. Then gave 2 amounts. £250 and £1000. (or so).from Amazon. We have had 3 similar calls in the last 3 days. All from different numbers. No money has gone from our account and no bank name was given and therefore I presume that it was a scam.
Fraud / Scam............... States they're from BT with alarming call that your router is faulty and that your internet line is public. Then starts to asks questions about the lights on router, who uses internet, even knew home address, at that point I hung up. I contacted BT - they do not have any such number listed in their network, also they confirmed no calls were made to line from themselves.

Sales call, said were from O2. When asked how she had obtained my number, she was evasive. Asian accent, so thought it was from overseas. I am subscribed to the telephone preference service, so should not be getting marketing or sales calls. I cut them off and blocked.

Got a call from 01997 617418 and he said he was called “Daniel”, obviously incorrect based on accent. He said he was from Curry’s PC World! Stating he was doing mobile phone upgrades. Upon notification of the fact I had already upgraded recently he hung up.
I don't know the full details of the calls, but 01270 311034 has been harassing my father today, calling back every few minutes despite him repeated telling them "no". Seems like the behaviour of scammers to me.
