This is about the 5th similar Sheffield number making repeat and unsolicited calls to my phone. We have a call handling service and they don t leave a message. I have now blocked this number too.

Called this morning just before 8.30 am. As the number was unrecognised it was allowed to go to the answering machine. The call was terminated almost immediately.

I was called by this number and the very rude guy tells me he s from EMCAS. I immediately tell him that I m not interested, where says he is not interested either, and hangs up. Every day since then we have received silent nuisance phone calls. I m preparing to make a statement to the police and trading standards.

Don't know this number. Why are they calling me? Unsolicited calls cause great stress in personal relationships.

We are NOT in any way associated to the people making these calls. They use our name as a cover. We have reported this to the relevant authorities on a number of occasions. This number has called repeatedly over the last few days. They say that they want to send you a free magazine and petrol vouchers and want you to pay £1 for postage using using a credit or debit card. When I told them I would not give my card detail across they just hung up. How rude. Obviously a scam watch out.

Weird. When I answered, a recorded message said that the caller is unable to take your call. I don t know if it is genuine or a scam but I have never had this happen before.
