Had a similar call fom 'Liam' because they had my details reported to them following my recent traffic accident. Obviously I have not been involved in an accident!!

Called just as we were having lunch at 12.45pm but when answered no one was there. Suspect it was the same Indian chap who keeps telling me I have a virus and he can fix it.

Just been contacted by this number,claimed to be from(cooperative energy)asking for an up to date reading of my meters.I normally supply them online at the beginning of the month(which is only 2 days away) I gave them the readings and then they asked if they were located inside or outdoors.They also asked if they were accessible to an engineer should they need to call???????? Discover Broadband called me on 07/08/2018 on 0161 768 5650 trying to get me to change from BT; When I asked where they got my name and number, she gave me some reply that as we are with BT they do a survey as a customer with our details; but didn t actually say where she got my details from. I would not give her my postcode or 1st line of address; I thought if she had name and number she could get that. She talked non-stop for 20 mins when I suggested for both our sake, she cut the call and ring me back

I answered this but no response. When I put the phone(mobile down the phone wouldn t work at all. Completely froze. It wouldn t shut down, reboot. Phone completely inoperable for about a minute. Very scarey, thought I had lost the whole contents. Be very careful. DO NOT ANSWER THIS NUMBER!!!

Whenever I register with one of those sites I always am careful to tick, or untick, any boxes that instruct them NOT to contact me. Haven t received any emails so somebody is selling my details on, or they are just B4stards!
